While I was living in Japan, I met a Takeko who lived in the same apartment block that I had previously lived in. Her nephew, Tatsu, was about to take a four year holiday to cycle around the world. Unfortunately we didn't have time to meet before his launch, but Takeko and her husband, Shin, treated me to some great hospitality on Tatsu san's behalf. He wrote me from Zimbabwe and asked me to eat as much as I could at Takeko's, as he would therefore receive wonderful hospitality along his journey. His journey makes me envious.
